About Scott Burgin

Scott E. Burgin joined Litaker Insurance as a Commercial Account Manager in 2024. In his role, he creates tailored solutions to provide commercial clients with a personalized and exceptional experience.

Prior to joining the Litaker Insurance team, Scott has held various other roles, including Customer Service Specialist at The Hartford, and Account Management at both Main Street Financial Group and NFP Property & Casualty Insurance Services. He also holds a property & casualty insurance license in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Originally from New Haven, Connecticut, Scott grew up in Asheville, North Carolina. He later graduated from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, and a minor in Psychology. Outside of his insurance profession, Scott enjoys spending time hiking in the mountains, traveling, trying various foods from all over the world, spending time with friends and family, (including his eight other siblings), and rooting for his favorite football team: the Pittsburgh Steelers.
