Meet Brenda

Brenda Lengel joined Litaker Insurance in 2025 as Director of Operations. In this role, Brenda oversees the day-to-day operations of the agency, supports our service teams, provides training for employees, and strengthens relationships with our insurance carrier and broker partners.

Originally from Chesapeake, VA, Brenda and her family have lived in the Charlotte, NC area since 2006. Brenda started her insurance career working summers for Henderson & Phillips Insurance while teaching during the school year. Eventually, Brenda decided to pursue a career in insurance. She has worked at insurance agencies since 1997 in various roles, including Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager, Training, Producer, Small Business Account Manager, and Personal Lines Account Manager. Brenda recently worked for Peoples First Insurance, and has also held positions at Ware Insurance, Nationwide Insurance, Watson Insurance, and USI Insurance Services.

Outside of work, Brenda enjoys spending time with her family (spouse Ken, two adult sons, Ken Michael and Andrew), learning about advancements in AI and technology, playing the piano, baking, golfing, and watching NASCAR.
