Meet Ted
Ted J. Stawinsky joined Litaker Insurance in 2020 as Chief Financial Officer. He leads the agency's financial strategy and oversees licensing and compliance, information technology, human resources, and operations.
Originally from Archbald, Pennsylvania, Ted has lived in Charlotte for more than two decades. Prior to joining Litaker Insurance, he served in financial, operations, and technology leadership roles, contributing to major revenue growth, successful mergers, and enhanced firm-wide technology strategies and risk management practices. His previous roles include Chief Financial Officer at Windermere Insurance Group, Chief Financial & Operating Officer at Knauff Insurance, President & Senior Consultant at Provectus Consulting, and Area Chief Operations Officer at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. He holds his resident and several nonresident producer property & casualty licenses along with resident & nonresident surplus lines licenses.
Ted graduated from Marywood University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is passionate about supporting St. Peter's Episcopal Church's Room in the Inn program, which provides shelter and food for the homeless. When he's not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his family (spouse Mark and adult children Jeremy and Rachael) and friends, studying genealogy and history, camping, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
