Meet Michelle
J. Michelle Puckett joined Litaker Insurance in 2022 as Personal Lines Account Manager. In her role, she assists clients and agents with their personal line insurance needs.
After graduating from St. Petersburg College, Michelle was given the opportunity to train and begin a career in the insurance industry through USAA, which has led to a prosperous professional journey in the field over the last 30 years. Prior to working with Litaker Insurance, she served as Senior Personal Lines Account Manager for USAA, Insurance Agent with NC Farm Bureau Insurance, Senior Personal Lines Underwriter with Burns & Wilcox, Senior Personal Lines Underwriter with Worldwide Facilities, and Personal Lines Marketing Agent with McGriff.
Michelle is originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, but has lived in Shelby, North Carolina, for the past two decades. She has always been active and grew up ice skating and horse jumping. Nowadays, she enjoys hiking, CrossFit, paddleboarding, and pickleball, traveling to the mountains and the coast, and spending time with her family (spouse Walt, grown children Cullen and Hallie, and two rescue dogs Aya and Apollo). She is passionate about supporting animals in need whenever possible.
