Meet Jean
Jean R. Beard joined Litaker Insurance in 1980, making her tenure of 40+ years one of the longest on the current team. In her role as Account Manager, she focuses on providing exceptional service to clients in the personal lines' insurance category, including home, auto, boat, umbrella, inland, marine, and dwelling fire. She also serves many condominium HOAs.
Jean started her career in the insurance field upon graduating from school. Originally from Gastonia, North Carolina, she held her first role there at Watson Insurance in the early 1970s. She also worked at Kemper Personal Insurance before joining the Litaker Insurance team. She holds and has maintained a Certified Professional Service Representative (CPSR) designation.
When Jean is not working, you will find her spending time with her family (spouse Frank, two sons Chris and Kyle, and kitty Romey), eating at her favorite Mexican restaurants, reading, cheering on the NHL Carolina Hurricanes, or spending time by the water where she lives in St. Johns, Florida.
