Meet Hunter
Hunter A. Litaker joined Litaker Insurance in 2014 as Insurance Advisor and has been serving as Vice President since 2016. He is part of the fourth generation of agency leadership. Hunter works with individuals and communities to educate them on risk management, proper risk transfer, and insurance coverage needs to protect their most important assets. He specializes in insuring community associations and founded www.insurethehoa.com in 2017 to serve as a resource for HOA officers, professionals, and homeowners to obtain properly tailored insurance policies.
A Charlotte area native, Hunter grew up in an insurance family, learning about the industry his whole life. While he pursued a different degree in college, he quickly decided the insurance field aligned with his personal and professional goals, including his personal commitment to always help others. Hunter interned with the agency in college before joining full-time after graduation. He also holds a property & casualty insurance license in North Carolina.
Hunter attended East Carolina University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He currently resides in Weddington, North Carolina, and enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, water sports, football, traveling, grilling out, cheering on the East Carolina Pirates and Carolina Panthers, and spending time with his friends and family (spouse Sofia, sons Alex and Hunter, golden retriever Lady, and cats Dexter and Bentley).
